The rooms have been recently renovated and provide a clean and quiet environment for rest. I appreciated the hosts' thoughtful approach, having ensured the heating was on prior to my arrival-a consideration not to be overlooked on cold, rainy evenings. The air conditioning warmed up the room quickly, and I was pleased with the shower's hot water supply and the complimentary toiletries provided. The flat-screen TV and electric kettle added convenience, allowing me to enjoy hot beverages in the sitting area. It's also worth noting that the motel has free Wi-Fi and parking available. The Wattle Motel may not boast the luxury of a high-end hotel, but it serves its purpose well, particularly for travelers needing a decent place to rest. Given the circumstances, including recent flooding, the attention to cleanliness and comfort is commendable. If you seek basic comforts at a reasonable price, Wattle Motel is certainly worth considering.
